Joyce Meyer’s Study- Galatians

Hello, everyone. Hope you are all well during this time of semi-quarantine. Remember to abide the rules and regulations and we will all stay well.

Today we are going to be looking at one of Joyce Meyer’s newest studies on the book of Galatians.

The Book of Galatians was written by Paul. Paul had been a rough character in his past, but when came to Christ, his entire life changed. Paul was someone that persecuted the Christians and somehow, through God’s amazing love and grace, he became one of the greatest apostles and wrote several books of the Bible. Amazing what God can truly do! Paul became a great person and reached many people for Christ.

In Galatians, we learn a lot about the fruit of the spirit, how not to judge others, to walk in love and forgiveness, and so many other great things that we can learn from. Paul writes the book of Galatians as a letter to the people. He wanted them to understand the seriousness in what he was trying to them. Paul wanted the people to understand God and why it was important to follow the ways God gave for us to become good people and to love others.

I really enjoyed this wonderful Bible Study. Joyce Meyer really does a great job with her Biblical Commentary Series. They are easy to read and give a lot of thought provoking questions to help you in your Christian walk. I hope to share with you in a couple week the next Bible commentary on Colossians. I don’t know much about that book, so I’m looking forward to this Biblical Commentary.

A marriage of convenience may lead to true love

Hello, everyone. As we start our semi-quarantine this week together, lets be thankful for what we do have. And please, as I’ve been stressing on social media, please remember your neighbors and don’t hoard products in the store, particularly toilet paper, milk, and other essentials; some of us don’t have a bunch to keep forever and live on budgets.

Today we are going to talk about the newest Sarah Sundin book -The Land Beneath Us. This book as all Sara Sundin books are set at War Time. I love these books and I always love the story lines. They are so unique than other authors, making Ms. Sundin one of my all time favorite authors.

In The Land Beneath Us, we meet Leah Jones, a 18-year old girl, with dreams to be a librarian and find the remaining members of her family. She longs to make her family complete. Will she be able to see to that goal? Nevertheless, Leah arrives at Camp Forest in Tennessee to start her librarian training. In the next several weeks, she meets Clay Paxton, a man who feels he is destined to die in the war.

Clay Paxton is a young Ranger, who has been having dream for years of his death. He knows when and where. He has given up all his dreams for a career in medicine and a future family. Clay is also holding some un-forgiveness towards his older half-brothers and doesn’t know what t do with the resentment in his heart. He prays for forgiveness, but it still is too difficult to let it go. Until he meets, Leah Jones, his world begins to change.

It wasn’t love at first sight with Clay and Leah. They start out as very good friends and they tell each other their deepest secrets. One night when Clay is walking by the library, he feels a pull to go in and check on Leah. He finds that Leah has been sexually attacked and left for dead. Clay cannot die knowing the Leah has been hurt morally and marries her to save her virtue. Then Clay is rushed to war in Normandy, but their love grows through letters.

I won’t say much more so you can learn more about the story so you can have a little surprise and suspense. Do you think Clay will die knowing that he did right by Leah? Will they both realize and confess their love for each other before it is too late? You will have to wait and see. ๐Ÿ™‚

Here are some locations you can buy the book (hopefully, lol):
